Garage Burglary Near You -Maltklin Lane BD13

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Maltklin Lane, this occurred Sunday 27th September 2230hrs and Monday 28th September 0710hrs unknown suspect(s) have forced entry to a garage attached to a terraced property, causing damage to the garage door.

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a DeWalt drill valued at approximately £250 and a pair of bolt cutters of unknown value. They then left the premises via the same route and made off in an unknown direction.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between  Sunday 27th September 2230hrs and Monday 28th September 0710hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
